We'd love to have you out here in California, but just so you know, it will put you off humidity (if you come in the summer) and snow (if you come in the winter) forever.
There aren't alot of downsides other than the traffic, smog and the occasional bout of earth-moving-under-foot. That's why there are so many people. They come to visit and just stay.
No, I know you live in Wisconsin, what I was TRYING to say is that if you come to CA, you will never want to go back because we don't HAVE humidity or snow. I apologize for being an inarticulate slob.
That said, some kind of freak monsoon thing snuck in today and we have humidity. More evidence that God hates me.
No rain yet, but if it rains here in summertime, look out. The Apocalypse can't be far behind.
And because I'm such an annoying pedantic fuck, I'm going to tell you that something "of Venus" is spelled "Venutian". If something is of Venice (as in Italy) it's "Venetian".

Dude, I don't know if you've noticed, but I live in WISCONSIN.
Humidity and snow are things I'm well-aquainted with.
What were you doing up at 12:11 am? Shouldn't you be setting a good example for the little people in the house re: bedtime?
