Quick

If you had $5.00 to feed yourself for 4 days, what would you buy? And where would you go to buy it - where is the cheapest most cost-efficient store for food*?

And there is LNF's snowflake thing.

*I have my own answers, and will let you know them when I respond.

I would buy: macaroni and cheese, cheap soup (i.e. Ramen or the really, really, really cheap knock off version of Campbells), and popsicles. I would get these at Save-A-Lot or Aldi (both super-cheap).

saltine crackers and diet pepsi. so i guess they'd have to be really cheap saltines!

Jess: I took your advice - but I substituted hot dogs and buns and bread for the popsicles. We needed some meat (hey, I'm mostly german!). Oh, and we already had popsicles

IPM: Hey! Glad to have you, dear! I'm all about the Diet Coke, so we're going to have to figure out how to get that - saltines are in the cupboard already, so no worries there.

tessa: See above. :D

NG: Dude, my husband is ALL ABOUT THE RAMEN.

I forgot to mention - I went to Aldi. If it weren't for the crazy people and the stinky people, Aldi would be my favorite place in the whole world.

I'd buy loads of ramen. But you already know that.

I'd take the $5, then I'd find someone who has a lot more money. I'd use the $5 to buy a big club from the person, then whack them over the head, take my $5 back and all the rest of their money, and eat like a king for 4 days.

Well okay, I wouldn't do that. ;)
